Financial Inclusion Report 2025
11 de September de 2025
The National Commission of Banks and Insurance has been selected among the five finalists for the Institutional Leadership Award in Financial Inclusion, granted by the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), a global network bringing together institutions from more than 84 countries. The announcement was made during the Global Policy Forum (GPF) 2025, held from September 2 to 5 in Swakopmund, Namibia, the main international meeting where experiences and strategies are shared to advance financial inclusion.
This recognition distinguishes institutions that, over the past year, have demonstrated outstanding technical leadership, active commitment, and notable participation within the AFI network.

The achievement highlights the technical role of the CNBS in strengthening the regulatory framework, promoting safe and accessible digital financial products and services, as well as in developing innovative initiatives that have expanded access to historically excluded populations.
With this, the National Commission of Banks and Insurance consolidates its leadership in the international agenda of financial inclusion, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, international cooperation, and the construction of a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable financial system.
