The CNBS participated in the 44th Latin American Congress of Financial Law (COLADE 2025)

On September 18 and 19, 2025, the National Commission of Banks and Insurance (CNBS, for its acronym in Spanish) participated in the 44th Latin American Congress of Financial Law (COLADE 2025), held in the city of San Pedro Sula, Cortés, Honduras. This event was organized by the Honduran Association of Banking Institutions (AHIBA), together with the Latin American Federation of Banks (FELABAN).

Gender Gap Report in the Honduran Financial System 2025

The National Banking and Insurance Commission (CNBS), within the framework of its mandate to ensure the stability, transparency, and inclusion of the Honduran financial system, has progressively incorporated a gender perspective into its analysis and supervision processes. This approach responds to the need to understand and address the differences in access to and use of financial products and services between women and men, contributing to a more equitable and sustainable financial intermediation.

The National Commission of Banks and Insurance has been selected among the five finalists for the Institutional Leadership Award in Financial Inclusion, granted by the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), a global network bringing together institutions from more than 84 countries.
